About Natalie Smith-Blakeslee : Medium, Psychic, Medical Intuitive, Pet Communicator and Bereaved Parent.
The death of her beloved daughter, Carrie Ann Smith on October 2, 2005 from an aggressive form of leukemia brought Natalie Smith Blakeslee home to the purpose behind her extraordinary gift.
Since early childhood, Natalie has communicated with spirit. Upon her own near death experience in 1989, messages from the light became clearer and more defined. As a young woman, she knew her calling was to help others. Today, Natalie communicates with those who have passed, bringing hope, love, and light, to family and friends left behind through meaningful and spiritual communication with individuals, groups, or through lectures involving personal appearances and consultation by telephone, radio, television and the web. In service to others, Natalie’s degree in Nursing, Hospice training and certification, as well as her specialization in Psychological Studies at Penn State Behrend, enable her to understand, interpret, and convey specific messages and communicate those messages to those who need them. Her meaningful fieldwork involving nursing homes, children’s homes, bereavement, and advocacy on domestic abuse issues, cleared her career path and the direction she knew she would follow.
Natalie’s personal life challenges and struggles are a testament to her ability to overcome obstacles, and provide the foundation by which she is able to clearly communicate and empathize with individuals both here and on the other side. As an author, lecturer, and commentator, Natalie’s appearances in media include television, radio, workshops, and online session work. She is a special monthly guest on Star 104 radio in Erie, Pennsylvania, in addition to television and radio appearances on WDDD Radio, WICU/WSEE-TV, WJET/WFXP-TV, The Patte Purcell Radio Show in Las Vegas, “Life After Life” an HBO documentary, Joanne Steele’s “The Unknown Zone”, Reverend Nightingale’s Radio Show, The Glen Klausner Hour, “Healing the Grieving Hearts” with Dr. Gloria Horsley and Dr. Heidi Horsley, Janet Russell’s “Beyond The Unexplained”, Dudley Voll, Vincent Barra, Dr. Shep Jeffries Radio Shows, as well as Natalie’s own TV Show, “Messages from the Light”.
Natalie’s work as an author includes; “Butterflies in Flight”, an award winning poem published in the International Journal of Poetry, March 2000, “The Afterlife, A Medium’s Reflections and Guidelines”, “The Human Nature, the International Journal for the Study of Spirituality, Psychic Research and the Survival of Death”, March 2000,”Christmas Blessings”, in The National Summit, December 2002, “The Gift” in the 2000 Regional Cancer Center Newsletter, “The Summit”, of N.S.A.C. (National Association of Spiritualist Churches) publication, “Meeting of Hearts” website and the ADC (After Death Communication) website hosted by Judy Guggenheim (author of “Hello From Heaven”), and “Reflections of a Bereaved Mom and Medium” found on the Love and Light website. Additionally, all of Natalie’s articles have been translated into Italian for an Italian Bereaved Parent page.
Her association with various civic and spiritual organizations represents her dedication and passion on a very personal level in validating her life’s work. Natalie is a spokesperson and advocate for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, a Board Member for “Healing Hearts Haven” providing support for those suffering from loss, and Spiritual Advisor for the “Max Foundation”.
Natalie’s realization and affirmation of purpose continues to put her achievements in a very special light. Her contributions and spiritual gifts as mother, psychic medium, and healer provides much needed guidance, comfort, support, and inspiration to those who are touched by her extraordinary work.
